Admiral Richard B. Barnett was a Starfleet officer during the Dominion War. In 2374, the starship Exeter reported Barnett as missing in action. His name was listed in a casualty list that was displayed in the wardroom of Deep Space 9. (DS9: "In the Pale Moonlight", okudagram) This character was only mentioned in writing.
