A Jedi from the legendary Skywalker line, Alex Skywalker quickly gained the rank of Jedi Knight and married Ziara, with whom he had a daughter, Jena. He was well known among the galaxy as a hero, especially for his efforts during the Five Year War. By the time Jena was a teenager, Alex had been given a seat on the Jedi Council, and was heartbroken when his cousin Bail, and his wife Talya, died on a mission on Dathomir. Alex was by then a firm opponent to the appointment of Ahdar Grae to Grand Master. With the split in the Order, Alex became the leader of the anti-GA Jedi known as the Paladins.
