The Andorian battle cruiser carried at least one of these craft in its shuttlebay. (ENT: "Proving Ground") In a holographic program set in 2161, Thy'lek Shran owned an Andorian shuttle which he admitted was "slow". He piloted the craft to a rendezvous with Enterprise NX-01 and after he contacted the starship from his vessel, Shran's shuttle was brought aboard Enterprise. This task took five hours, a delay that frustrated Enterprise Commander T'Pol. In the final draft script of "These Are the Voyages...", Shran's Andorian shuttle was referred to as "a small, civilian shuttle."
