Grandpa Jacob is the father of Jane Kangaroo and grandfather of Junior Kangaroo. He appeared in The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss episode "Talkin' with the Cat," where he pays a visit to his family. Grandpa Jacob is hard of hearing, but Junior learns to communicate with him visually. Grandpa was an accomplished nerdleball player in his youth.
