For Every Chest, a Consequence is an achievement in Fable: The Journey. This achievement is obtained when the player opens 15 collectables chests during their journey. You can sometimes find chests at camps or in areas that diverge from the main path, indicated by a glowing circle. The player has to stop Seren within this circle to leave the cart and explore these Optional Stops.
