Wilhuff Ban Fleming is the son of Korynn Fleming and Laya Dar'Eboros. He is also the twin sibling of Ysanne Tessala Fleming. Wilhuff and his twin sister were given genetic alterations by their father during the first and second trimesters of their fetal growth. This was done to assure that Korynn's human genome structure would supercede their mother's balosar genes; to protect them from humiliation should they be born with the balosar trademark antennaepalps.
