Ensign Bandee was a Starfleet nurse serving aboard space station Deep Space 9. In 2374, Julian Bashir told Miles O'Brien to see Bandee if he needed anything to take the pain from his dislocated shoulder. (DS9: "Inquisition") A few weeks later, Keiko O'Brien made an appointment with Bandee for Kirayoshi to have a checkup. (DS9: "What You Leave Behind") Nurse Bandee was played by actress Kate Asner. The third edition of the Star Trek Encyclopedia identifies Bandee as a Bajoran; this was before Bandee's appearance in "Extreme Measures", the only appearance of the character.
