Emiliani was a Manticoran citizen and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy. Holding the rank of Vice Admiral, Emiliani commanded an Alliance unit during the Battle of Manticore, with HMS Valkyrie serving as the flagship. Emiliani was killed when Valkyrie's flag bridge was hit by enemy fire. (HH11)
