Galihie S. was an alias used by Vedek Gamon Vell to travel to Deep Space 9 in pursuit of Istani Reyla in April 2376. The fake ID claimed Galihie came from the township of Laksie just outside of Jalanda. However when Ro Laren later investigated Gamon’s death, after his murder of Istani, she found that no Galihies lived in Laksie. Of the two-hundred-and-twenty-seven Galihies on record only seventeen had an initial S. and all of those were accounted for. (DS9 novel: Avatar, Book One)
