The Apollymachi are a group of human women in service to the Atlantean goddess Apollymi. Apollymi saved her followers when she destroyed Atlantis and they moved to Greece, where they became an Amazon tribe. They are in direct opposition to the Atlantikoinonia. When members of the Atlantikoinonia tortured and killed Dimitri, a man on Tory Kafieri's excavation team, for the location of one of Ryssa's journals, one of the Apollymachi escaped with the journal and delivered it safely to Tory. Their oracle said that she was the Elekti, the chosen one who would be the journal's guardian.
