The castle is the signature building of the Medieval Age - strong, hard, unyielding, unmoving. It elevates city defenses to a new level (known as Medieval Walls),but in fact it does more than this - it marks the peak of medieval thinking, with its notion that the ways of the past are the best, and need to be kept at all costs. Of course, the future will soon prove this notion wrong.
