Études of Time and Space was a piece of music written by the Fondorian composer, Metrisse, before the year 38 BBY. He wrote the music while he stayed at Poloda Place, an apartment complex on the Galactic Republic's capital planet of Coruscant. By the year 18 BBY, the piece of music was famous. When the Sullustan reporter Den Dhur was in the complex around that time, he thought of Études of Time and Space while reflecting upon the number of artistic individuals who had lived in Poloda Place.
