A dose of the potion lasts for one hour. While the potion is in effect, for each lap of the Hefin Agility Course, there is an increased chance that either the cathedral roof shortcut will be usable, or there will be a light creature on the roof that gives you a reward. Note that the two effects might be activated on the same run.
