Matsu Tejin was a gunso of the Lion Clan. He defeated Mirumoto Ukira on the Dragon Heart Plain, but in actuality Ukira was forced to retreat so he could deliver important information to Mirumoto Daimyo Mirumoto Uso. Tejin later led a patrol of Matsu into Dragon mountains, catching a patrol led by Mirumoto Rosanjin by surprise. Tejin's men were winning until the timely arrival of Togashi Mitsu. Mitsu disarmed Tejin, who promptly fled with his men after threatening Mitsu should their paths ever cross again. The fight was known as the Battle of Wind Gorge, in 1158.
