Valu Jabaliyan was a renowned Chalactan Jedi Master who served the Jedi Order for over a 100 years. One of the many padawans of Master Yoda, Jabalivan would rise to the rank of Jedi Master, holding the rank of Jedi Battlemaster for over four decades. Eventually taking Nik Salis, a future rebel leader, as a padawan, and training the Corellian to Knighthood, he was killed during a mission to Lasan. (expand and explain)
