Fred Schneider (b. 1951) is a rock singer and songwriter best known as the frontman for the B-52s. Schneider appeared in The Flintstones, along with fellow bandmembers Kate Pierson and Keith Strickland, as their prehistoric counterparts, the BC-52s. The B-52's first big hit, "Rock Lobster" (written by Schneider and the rest of the band) was performed on Muppets Tonight.
