Viking is a standard-design major star station orbiting Epsilon Eridani, a K2 orange-red star 10.5 light years from Sol. Viking was founded in 2138 by ECS9 Beagle, which departed Pell Station in 2132. It is the eleventh star station founded by the Earth Company. Viking is 5.45 light years from Pell (Tau Ceti) and 5.1 light years from Eldorado (Luyten 726-8), its closest stellar neighbor. It is 9.9 light years from Mariner (Van Maanen's Star). Viking is reachable along FTL routes from Pell (via Tripoint) and Endeavour.
