Shmarton (Barmey in the British version) is a character appearing in Professor Layton and the Unwound Future. He is a member of the Family. His character is a parody of Barton, who has a similar name, look and behavior. He is often with his "bruv" Shmelmey. He and Shmelmey are found a few times during the game later on, and a lot of people actually mistake them for brothers. Such spots include the research facility, the towering Pagoda, and Chinatown.
