Parmentier was a planet formerly occupied by Omnius. During that time it was the source of a rare salmon from the Platinum River. It was reconquered by the League of Nobles during the Butlerian Jihad. Quentin Butler's forces liberated the planet in 150 BG and appointed his eldest son Rikov Butler as temporary governor. Its capital was Niubbe built over an industrial complex, and secured by the Parmentier Home Guard. Apart the capital, the planet also had at least one Jewish village.
