Adminship should reflect that the community trusts a user. It seems unfair to expect people to have 500 edits on a small wiki. Unlike the English Wikipedia, it's much harder to make this many edits since a new wiki calls mostly for new content rather than small fixes. Also, it's up to the whole community to choose, so passing one person's test is not a fair measure. I suggest these guidelines be reduced to better reflect that any trusted user making good edits to the wiki for a certain period of time can be made an admin. If they later turn out to be problematic in that role, it's easy for staff to remove their access. Angela talk 08:08, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
