A Four Knuckle Strike is like a high punch that's performed with the four knuckles of the fingers extended outward as the striking surface. The idea of the Four Knuckle Strike is that by extending the four fingers to strike with their knuckles, you make a surface that's strong (like a fist) but you add an extra inch or so to your reach. Typically the Four Knuckle Strike is targeted at soft targets such as the throat. The Four Knuckle Strike appears, for example, in the form Original Koryo.
