Lawrence Street (sometimes referred to as Lawrence Street-MetroTech) is a station on the BMT Fourth Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. The station is under Willoughby Street in Downtown Brooklyn, near the Transit Authority Building. It has a full mezzanine, and island platform, and two tracks. The station is directly below the Jay Street–Borough Hall IND station. Construction of a free transfer between the two stations is planned as part of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority's 2005–2009 Capital Program.
