The Shrine of Loss is an underground cavern in the Manor of Sleep. It has two parts: one accessed at the back of the Engraving Shrine, and one between the Abyss and the Abyss of the Horizon. A long wooden bridge leads across the water. In the first section of the Last Passage, there is a small shrine, which was called the Shrine of Loss. Here the Tattooed Priestess had to break the Mirror of Loss and so rid herself of all attachments to the world. When the door of the Last Passage is opened, Miasma spills out, causing a darkness which can only be illuminated with a purifying light.
