The Sweet Seeds for Haiti Event (September 2010) relief 5 was introduced on September 18, 2010. These seeds are different from regular seeds in that a farmer must purchase the "license" to plant them with Farm Cash. Zynga donated 100% of the proceeds to build "The School of Choice" in Haiti. As well as releasing the seeds, they also introduced a special Haiti Backpack event (much like Storage Cellar) where if Farmville users can gift 400,000,000 School Supplies by the last day of the promotion, Zynga will donate an additional $100,000 to the charity.
