Kodrog the Slayer was a Hobgoblin of the Southern Mountains and friend of Jim. He attempted to answer some readers' questions about the OotS but their tablets were obscuring Xykon's view. Right when Kodrog was ready to reveal the nature of The Monster In The Darkness Xykon used a lightning spell on them.
