The Beech 4000 was a model of turboprop airplane constructed and flown on Earth. In the late 23rd century, Ensign Faisal Prince owned a Beech 4000 on Earth. That airplane operated using a Thomas Adjustable Power Cell, Series 4124. (TOS novel: Vulcan's Forge) As of this writing, the highest numbered Beechcraft airplane model is 2000. It is unclear whether the Beech 4000 is a contemporary aircraft in 2296, or a restored classic retrofitted with the modern power cells.
