This setting is divided into three parts: the Red Tide (which begins following the rise of Maurice Thorez in France and ends with the end of WWIII), the New Dawn (which basically tells the tale of a technological "Golden Age" after the dark days of the 20th Century and human expansion into the Solar System), and the Great Beyond (which details humanity's expansion into the nearby stars).
