Alfred of Crane (Old English: Ælfrēd, Ælfrǣd, "elf counsel" or "wise elf") was a British born wizard who gained fame after aiding William the Conqueror in conquering Great Britain. After which, he was granted the title of "Earl of Blackmoor", and his family was subsequently ennobled.
