G4-T was a probe droid of the Sith Empire who lived during the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Deployed at Imperial base camp during the Battle of Ilum G4-T recognized that a Republic camp on Ilum was a potential threat to the Empire's crystal mines and recruited an Imperial ally to poison their climate control with his coolant and destroy their forces.
