Gunther Daniels was a Manticoran citizen and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy. Holding the rank of Lieutenant Commander, he served as the commanding officer of the destroyer HMS Skirmisher. Together with Lieutenant Commander Bridget Estwicke of HMS Ambuscade, he scouted the Hera System and later fought in the Battle of Solon and the Battle of Lovat. (HH11)
