Aldryami are the elves of the fantasy world of Glorantha, created by Greg Stafford. As many other creatures in that world, they are quite distinct from those of classic literature (including Tolkien), mythology and other fictional worlds. The aldryami are affiliated with the Plant Rune, making them basically vegetable. Different strands exist, with different associations. There are Aldryami associated with Darkness, who resemble mushrooms in their appearance and preferences.
