The term Ancient was usually used to refer to Lord Lion, his little-known ancestors, his brother, the Elders he created, or simply the large tree of beings born before the formation of the Republic. The title brings with it an air of dread in regards to such powerful Sith as the godly Lord of Hatred himself, or a calming sense of relief in describing the power of his brother and only contendable rival, Vahn Leonhart.
