The Floor Observation Room is a room in the Pyrosphere in Metroid: Other M. Here, Samus Aran, upon entry, fights an Asborean for the first time. The room has many computer screens and seats that cannot be used by Samus, and a terminal near the top of the room, at the foot of a short staircase unlocks a door near the Elevator out of the Pyrosphere. Above the terminal is an image of the volcano Samus finds two rooms later. The Floor Observation Room contains two Missile Tanks, both of which require the use of the Morph Ball. The first expansion is hidden under the staircase in a cramped space, while the other is in a tunnel, the opening of which is found near the Door outside the room.
