Shunrai (春雷, Shunrai, Spring Thunder) is a warrior type thunderbird. The personal thunderbird partner of Kei Yotsuki, he has helped his summoner on various occasion and in fact was one of his core teachers in learning senjutsu, along with some others. With his prowess in Storm Release, he has become a great tool for Kei on the battlefield. Given recent troubled times due to Zetsu, Shunrai was instructed to find and team up with Katen to unite whats left of the Animal Union with the recovering one for shinobi and samurai. Working alongside the Monkey Prince, he has met many animals and earned their respect amongst them.
