Helmut Bakaitis (born 26 September, 1944) is an Australian actor, director and screen-writer, who plays the humorless Architect in both The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions films, who is responsible for the creation of the various versions of the Matrix. The Architect features an analytic and emotionless genius whose informative speech shed light tot the truth behind the Matric and The One's Function.
