The South Clinton Fire Department, also known as Clinton Township Fire Area 2, protected the southern portion of Clinton Township from its fire station in Campden. In 1970, municipalities in the area were restructured, and both Clinton Township were merged with Louth Township and Vineland to form the Town of Lincoln.
