Alpha Critters are a series of 26 cartoon creatures shaped like the English alphabet. They were created in the mid-1980s by Lloyd Gilbert and distributed by Special Effect, a division by Mighty Star, Inc. Each of the 26 Alpha Critters were available to consumers as stuffed animals and PVC figurines. The characters were also printed on bed sheets.
