User with this ability either is or can transform into an Mizuchi (master of the water), a Japanese dragon or legendary serpent-like creature, which is aquatic or somehow related to water, possibly a water deity. They were generally considered rather dangerous to humans, often attacking trespassers by breathing or spewing out venom, poisoning and killing many passersby.
