The Yellow-billed barbet (Trachyphonus purpuratus), is a species of African barbet in the Lybiidae family. It is found in Angola, Benin, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Togo, and Uganda.
