'Dennison Trucks was founded in Rathcoole, Dublin in the Republic of Ireland by George Dennison in 1977. The truck making business was started after the Dennison Trailers business was sold to Crane Fruefauf. The trucks were built from parts supllied by several OEM suppliers. Cabs from Motor Panels, Engines from Rolls-Royce or Gardner, and Fuller gearboxes with Eaton axles. from 1979 Sisu cabs from Finland were used. Most were sold into the Irish market but a few were exported to the UK.
