Atlus was founded on April 7, 1986. Aside from developing and publishing software, Atlus also develops, sells, leases, and provides maintenance services for game machines for amusement facilities including Print Club which prints out instant picture stickers. The company also manages Game Panic, Amusement Land Mu-Tairiku, and has developed Atlus Vegas in the virtual world of Second Life. The corporate mascot is Jack Frost, designed by illustrator Kazuma Kaneko, from Shin Megami Tensei.
