In the three-part episode of Power Rangers Super Megaforce, the six Rangers travel back in time to the year 1996 to stop the time-traveling monster from destroying Telexa and Gamma 5 and the Thunderstorm Power Rangers that will alter history. The rangers learn that in 1996, their teacher Drew Hale becomes a Power Ranger, while being a freshman in high school.
