Bubba is the street name for an ex-Shadowrunner hermetic mage named Robert Howland. He was born in Seattle in 2012. He personally tutored the elven rigger named Starlight, and together with Top Cat, he ran missions for Aztechnology. An accident which made him lose sight in one of his eyes prompted him to seek a cyber-replacement. Unfortunately, it led him down the path of burnout as he gained more cybernetic enhancements to compensate for his loss of magic. After Top Cat and Starlight cut and run, Bubba lost his edge and scraped a bitter living in the Seattle Barrens. He died shortly after that.
