Krath Marik was born on the planet Kalarba not far outside Kalarba City. His Force powers first manifested when he was 10 years old where he soon after was picked up by the Titans, a group of Jedi led by Adam Sage. He trained with them until he was 18 at which point he was sent to the Jedi Temple to finish his training and truely begin the road to becoming a Jedi Master.
