Five Elements Dancing is the sixth story Poetheather wrote in the Bladedancer series. It follows on Summoning Sweeties, which is nominally part of the Gateway series but focus a lot on Chou as well. It covers from January 8, 2007 to January 25, 2007. In this story, Chou has a new Martial Arts tutor, Journeyman, who teaches her (and other students) his art of "elemental combat." In parallel, Bladedancer assembles a team to investigate a mysterious negative influence over the school. It is composed of five "Books", named after the steps of the Wu Xing:
