The Recyclons are a breed of non-Cybertronian transforming robots created by the Harvest Lords of Sigrath. They are tasked with searching the galaxy for raw or waste materials to reclaim and process into energon for their Lords in a far-reaching "clean up the universe" mission...even if that material happened to have native life forms living on it, sentient or no.
