The NAVSTA Rota Fire and Emergency Services is a military agency that provides 24/7 fire suppression, medical, rescue, and ARFF coverage at US Naval Station Rota, Spain. The agency also conducts fire suppression in the nearby town of Rota, which does not have its own fire department. The base is home to a variety of military tenants including the US Navy, US Marine Corps, US Army, US Air Force, and their families. In 2011 the agency became the first DoD department in Europe to earn CFAI accreditation.
