The necromantic spell defoliate has its origins in the southern Garundi nation of Sargava. With it, the caster can create a limited zone (either a straight line up to 60' in length, or a 10' radius burst) in which all plant life dies. It is said to be able to also damage plant creatures, such as the dangerous assassin vine or mandragora. It is very useful for clearing small tracks of land for exploration or cultivation in the overgrown tropical climate.
