Amaterasu Nakamura (中村天照 Illuminating Heaven in the Village) is the captain of the 13th Division, Yukio's former captain and the object of Yuzuki's affections. She is a black sheep among the Captains due to her offhandish approach to her division. In the past she was the Lieutenant of the Kido Corps, however due to her level of Spiritual Energy and the fact she has mastered Bankai, she was made Captain of the 13th Division once the position was open.
