The Brotherhood of the Atlantic is a loosely-bound pirate confederation that raids the eastern coast of North America from Newfoundland to the Caribbean. They are best described as a warlord organization that raids the east coast of North America, and once a year, the major warlords, known as the Seven Admirals meets on a ramshackle oil tanker known as Solace to discuss matters pertaining to all of them, notably external threats and splitting plunder. Their land headquarters is in Morehead City, operated as a Free Town, not under the control of any Admiral, but under the control of the people.
